Books about Huffman

The Frontier Years 270 Pages

Before Barbed Wire 254 Pages

After Huffman's death in 1931 two excellent biographies were published about him. Second editions of both books were later printed, but even these have long been out of print.

Each book offers 124 black and white photographs taken by Huffman and the accompanying text, much of it in Huffman's own words, offers authentic insight into the life and times of Huffman's world in Montana from 1878 when Montana was still a territory until about 1920 while in it's early statehood.

These two volumes are prized by collectors and Coffrin's Old West Gallery usually has some in stock in a wide range of condition. Condition varies from "well worn, no dust jacket, but no pages missing" to "very fine, good dust jacket, no noticeable wear."

Please call or write for prices as prices vary according to condition.

We usually have both first and second editions in stock and maybe even some signed by the authors - Felton and Brown.
